I recently had a Mitsubishi split ductless system with a heat pump with four indoor units installed in my hundred year-old house by Johnston Mechanical Services.
Art took the time to both explain the different options I had and the associated costs as well as map out where the most effective and efficient paths for the lines would be. In addition, you wouldn’t even know I had a major home improvement project done on my home because he and his assistant were extremely careful to minimize the impact to the the existing structure and always put drop cloths down under their work area to keep their area clean.
This system is very efficient, having a minimal impact on my electric bill and INCREDIBLY quiet. When you stand in front of the indoor units you almost wouldn’t even know they were on if you didn’t feel the air coming from the them. I have never really even heard the outdoor unit because my neighbor’s central air unit is so loud. The two side-by-side are almost like an electric toothbrush compared to electric lawnmower respectively. The only way I really know it’s running is by the leaves on the nearby plants moving and feeling the amount of heat it is pulling from my house to cool it down when I walk by.
Art has also followed up to make sure I am satisfied with the install and ask if I had any questions.
The only regret I have with all of this is waiting five years after moving in this house to do it!!!

My wife and I have nothing but positive feedback about Art and his assistant! We were given an accurate estimate, prompt service, preparation of the entrances to protect our flooring, and quality work. Art personally completed the job (as described), made pre-arrival texts, and made call backs to ensure our satisfaction. I am glad we chose Johnston's instead of other chains because we got more for our $$$ and personal attention. When my neighbor had the same work done by "The Orange Truck", she had a visit from 3 fire engines that day. I had no worry about that with Art.
We were having issues with the domestic hot water getting cool. I called Art at Johnston, he ordered a new coil for our boiler right away and installed it quickly. Price was fair service was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, his work is clean and Art Johnston personally called me the next day to make sure we were happy.
Now my wife can take a boiling hot bath or a hot hour long shower. ????

Johnston's Mechanical has always been a great company for us. We have been doing business with them for almost 15 years and the service is unbeatable.
