Replaced my old front door glass. Mark was fabulous. Called me back as 3 other competitors did not. Came right over. Design to finished install was amazing! 5 big stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.
We were lucky enough to purchase the former home of a stained glass worker who had created an AMAZING work of art in our kitchen, unfortunately, the window was 20+ years old and in need up some serious maintenance. Because of it's size, and the sentimental value we were VERY worried about hiring someone to remove it, replace the framing, clean the glass and reinstall it. Then we stumbled across a post Mark shared in a local Facebook group. After reaching out to him to ask about getting a quote we soon discovered, that he had actually worked for/with the original artist/homeowner!!
Mark and his team came in, and measured/ordered custom insulated framing and UV rated clear glass panels to help make the original artwork pop AND keep our house more energy efficient. The work that Mark did was not only done to perfection, but having him and his team at our home for the week he was doing work was such a joy and my the end of the week they felt a bit like family.
Mark, Ashley and Charlie, THANK YOU!!!! We are SOOOOOO thrilled with the work you all did for us!
I inherited from my mother two very heavy and unique stained glass panels in an arts and crafts/Tiffany-style vine design. They were in bad shape with multiple broken pieces and loose solder throughout. Mark repaired them as only a true professional could, painstakingly restoring them to better than original condition, and coming in under the estimated cost as well! He was informative and forthcoming about the process, keeping me apprised and sending photos along the way. He color-matched and sourced pieces used to replace ones that had been broken. Also, due to the panels' unusual dimensions, to prevent future breakage, Mark reinforced the panels with hard to notice supports. He carefully transported the pieces to and from my residence. It was a pleasure to work with Scintilla. I'm only sorry I didn't have more pieces that needed restoration! I highly recommend Scintilla Stained Glass.
The first words that come to mind when describing our experience with Scintilla Glass are professional, precise, artistic... kind, patient and helpful. Needless to say, these qualities resulted in a finished project that is “an exquisite work of art “!
We very definitely would recommend Scintilla as reliable for any job - llarge or small.
I live in a converted church with 100-year-old stained glass windows. These windows had had only minor work done during the conversion. Mark and crew have restored these to their glory by cleaning and sealing the windows’ exteriors, and cleaning the windows’ interiors. This required scraping off years of dirt and incorrectly implied putty and sealant. The Scintilla team was always careful and professional. Most important, they care about stained glass, and they take pride in doing the job right.
Finally, given the number of hours Scintilla put into the work, the price was very reasonable.
I recommend Scintilla with no reservations.
