The Carbon Model Railroad Society will hold its open house at 529 Ore St., in Bowmanstown on Thursday Dec. 17, from 7 to 9 p.m.; and on Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 26, and 27, and Jan. 2 and 3, from 1 to 5 p.m.The main HO scale display is in various stages of completion and is an excellent learning tool.
A steady stream of model train and railroad enthusiasts of all ages attended the Spring Train Meet of the Carbon Model Railroad Society which was held in the Palmerton Area High School Gym this past weekend. They could see and purchase a wide variety of railroad memorabilia from over 100 tables set up in the gym.
