This is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever been to. From the moment I entered the park to the moment I left I was left in complete awe by the scenery and landscapes that were in front of me. With plenty of trails and areas for me to set my tent up and not be bothered, I'm glad that I experienced this amazing piece of paradise
One of my favorite hiking trails to visit. Beautiful scenery and incredible waterfalls. If you hike up past all the falls and follow the trail there is one of the best views there is in PA. Better than the pa grand canyon for sure. The trails are perfect for experienced hikers who like a challenge. I would not recommend for small children and the trail to the falls is almost impossible to get to in the winter.

Very well maintained beautiful scenic trail. We rode from Jim Thorpe D&L trail entrance to White Haven (25 miles one way) and back (total 50 miles): small incline up and small decline easy ride back down. You can ride right along side of river, several small falls to see on the trail, and many picnic tables available to take a break. Would strongly recommend to bring snacks and plenty of water: once you enter the trail, there is no place to grab a snack or drink. White Heaven has a bike rental shop and small grocery store to purchase snack and water but if you start from the bottom, it is 25 miles up distance.
