  Nice park. Rented cabin.. very nice. No toilets in the cabins. Firewood for fires is in short supply

  I enjoyed coming here as a kid and camping! The sites are still the same, very nice size. If you're entering the campground near the office, and go straight past the dumping station, they have pull through sites for RVs. However, I'm not a fan of this small section. Emphasis on SMALL. It's just that section too. If you're okay with backing up your RV (which I'd hope you are if you are driving it) try to get a different spot. Especially along the center or near the golf course field. It's nice and flat. Lots of room, and if you go on certain weekends in the summer, they have car shows!

  I LOVE this state park!!! It is definitely the best I've gone to. I especially like boulder fields, I can't say the same for the dogs. And I could run along boulders for about as far as the eye can see. I would definitely recommend it for adults and kids. But make sure to keep an eye on your kids because it's very easy to fall and get hurt.

  If you are at the park, take the time to go to the Boulder Field. I have never seen anything like it. 16 acres of boulders! Lots to do at the park. The campground has got some crazy sites. I'm not sure how anyone gets a rig in some of those spots and they didn't appear to be tent sites.

  I have visited the park twice and stayed there overnight both in the fall and spring. The cabins vary on size an capacity but are all similar as far as materials and the way they are built. Very basic, no manmade materials (no insulation, drafty, no electricity). Bigger cabins have fireplace which is a MUST from October and on! It gets extremely cold, especially at night even in May. Bring your own wood and sleeping bags though. Some big cabins might have electricity. Bathrooms are separate cabins, one per cluster. Vanity is outside and the water could be brown due to minerals we were told. Showers are available at a different building. Dining hall has an industrial kitchen which is great for big groups. There is a lake, waterfalls and hiking has some great views to offer. Rates are extremely reasonable.
