Nice little park with old buildings to look at and take pictures of. Lots of care has been put into several gardens that help it feel loved and taken care of. Looks like some work is being done to restore the building which should make the mark even more enjoyable. There are some well marked hilly paths. Great place for pictures and a nice walk. There were a lot of dog walkers so it appears great for that as well.

Bondsville Mill is a historic park with over two miles nature trails. In 1841 the Bond Woolen Factory company opened and produced Kentucky Jeans. The factory village of Bondsville was established to support the mill. A mill race that ran behind the buildings powered a water wheel which powered the mill, can be seen directly behind the ruins. Later this mill was powered by steam and then by electricity. On the back of the ruins you can look in and see some of the remaining steam equipment. The mill stopped being used as a mill in 1954. This park opened in 2014.
There is a butterfly garden to the right of the parking lot with a kiosk that shows how to Garden for Butterflies. In 1946 the owner of the mill established a World War II Memorial which can be visited behind the parking lot. behind the park. In addition to the mill ruins you can see the dam ruins and the old water tower.
The park has benches, picnic tables and great views of the creek.

This is a small wooded park behind the historic Bondsville Mill ruins. We did the trails at this park yesterday (in January a few hours before snowfall). It was a great hike, nice variation in terrain. The mud was frozen in tiny stalagmite icicles in places and it was very cool to see.
