His focus is so much better, he doesn't shy away from speaking up as much as he used to, he doesn't hide behind me when meeting new people, he's more respectful and he stands up for himself more. It's also easier to get him to make better choices. He is proud of his karate experience and I'm so proud of him. It's also fantastic exercise, these kids do not stop moving the moment class starts.
