Pivot Ballroom
Pivot Ballroom is the nicest place to dance on the Main Line. We teach every one from complete beginners up to the most advanced social and competitive dancers. We offer group classes, private lessons, workshops, wedding dances and monthly dance events.
Pivot Ballroom on the Main Line was founded in the fall of 2013 by four dancers who needed a place to teach and practice. In 2019 the studio was reorganized and since then the studio has become one of the best places to dance and practice in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. We teach everyone from complete beginners, wedding couples preparing for their first dance, advanced dancers, and even the most competitive dancers come here to learn and practice.

I really can’t say enough good things about Pivot! Sandra is so much fun to work with. Not only is she talented but she is also patient and encouraging. She makes sure my fiancé and I don’t get too frustrated with ourselves and reminds us to have fun! After each session we can’t wait to come back the next week! -

(May 29, 2018, 12:31 pm)My fiance and I took dance lessons with Sandra Dee leading up to the our wedding. And can I tell you it was worth every penny. Sandra was patient with us (DANCE IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS!) and she had fun with us! We not only gained some amazing dance moves but gained a friend in Sandra. I seriously can't recommend doing this enough.

It is fun, our instructor (Sandra Dee) is friendly, and the steps are easy to follow the way she breaks them down. Neither of us have ever taken dance lessons before, but this experience not only allows us to spend some quality time together it has also is given me the dancing bug! If your wedding is coming up or you need to know a routine for a special occasion I highly, highly, highly recommend Pivot Dance Studio!!!!

I searched for someone to instruct me in a Father, Daughter dance and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with her at Pivot Ballroom Studio. She is very professional, thorough, fun and patient. She also worked to choreograph the routine which is very nice. My daughter loves her as well and we had eight lessons together insuring that everything will go great on her special day. I have enjoyed it so much that I’m now taking both private and group lessons to learn more dances than the waltz. I highly recommend Sandra and her studio. Hope this is helpful. She also helped me work through this with little to no anxiety even though it was my first experience with ballroom dancing.
