(January 11, 2019, 12:10 pm)We've been there many times over the years. It is a very nice, almost sedate setting in a large inn built in 1736. The food is great. The portions are oversize, especially their prime rib. It's a place where background music is soft, the light is soft, the service is very good... friendly. If want a nice place to have dinner for two or a group, this is a very good choice.

(January 10, 2019, 4:25 pm)Was here for Sunday brunch for my granny's 80th. Food was great, staff was friendly and kind. I would have preferred more light as it was really dim. The food is pricey, but portioned accordingly. I would have liked more lighting, as it was very dim. Overall we had a great time!

(December 22, 2018, 3:25 pm)Went here a few nights ago and loved it. Not only is the place really nice, it gives you a really relaxing feeling as soon as you walk in. The food was AMAZING. I ordered prime rib and it was so worth it. Our waitress Pam was incredibly nice and helpful. Would definitely take the drive to go again!

(December 10, 2018, 9:58 am)This is definitely an old fashioned type of steakhouse, but in a great way. All of the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were enormous (come hungry!). I had the house special prime rib, and it was the largest cut of meat I've ever been served in a restaurant. It's not inexpensive, but what you get is worth the price.
