  A great park 300 acre passive park with working farm, forest, small pond and Indian Creek. You begin your visit by driving up an oak and beech tree lined drive. This land has been in agricultural use since the 1700s and is currently maintained as a demonstration farm to educate visitors.
  The property has the mansion that can be rented, gardens, the park office, education area and bathrooms near the first parking lot.
  The lower parking lot gives you easy access to the fenced fields where you can see of Scottish Highlanders, Belted Galloway cattle, mules, sheep and goats outside the restored barn. There are additional bathrooms in this area. The lower lot also is where a paved trail that will take you to the pond and fishing deck. If you follow the road out of the back of the lot (it is closed to traffic) down to Indian Creek you can easily access the Indian Run Trail that runs along the creek and across bridges and around the entire park.

  Beautiful working farm. Lovely place to have a wedding. It's great that they share the land with the Chester County Food Bank to grow food.

  You can make it a long trip or short trip. We were looking for fun things to do with my 7 month old. She loves looking at and interacting with animals so this was perfect! We went on a really hot day so the animals were mainly inside laying down but the goats were out and about! We pet the goats and had fun. The barn was cute with little stamps and stuff to look at. It was stroller friendly and had many paths and things to look at! We will be back!!

  Wonderful venue! Was in a wedding a few weeks ago and it could not have been a more beautiful wedding. I was part of the wedding party, so I was able to view the upper rooms in the manor and they were lovely as well as a nice area for the wedding party to relax before the ceremony. I would recommend this venue to anyone that is looking to have a wedding or party on a beautiful farm with private rooms for a wedding party.
