Very nice place for a hike
Fun MountainBike trails to ride
Nice paved trail. Its about 2.5 miles long. There's some additional dirt trails in the woods for hiking and some biking.
A very nice spot for a walk with the dog.
The East Branch Brandywine Trail begins south of Downingtown on Route 322 and continues south along its the Brandywine Creek. The paved trail winds it way through meadows and wooded areas, including the M. John Johnson Nature Center and the Harmony Hill Nature Area. The trail crosses over the the Creek at and continues on until it reaches the ending parking lot at Skelp Level Road.
Branching off from the main trail are a number of natural trails for hiking, trail running and mountain biking that are part of Brandywine Meadows Preserve, Harmony Hill Nature Area and the John Johnson Nature Center
The trail is very short and loud due to the traffic on Route 322. Once the trail is connected to the Struble Trail to the North and on the south to West Chest this trail will really become a Regional Recreation Corridor.
