“I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Tantorski. My back issues came on rather suddenly. I never had any problems with my back, then I quickly deteriorated over a few months. I had severe pain in my hips and legs, numbness and weakness in my legs. I could not walk or stand for more than a few minutes without difficulty, stairs and inclines were just about impossible. I went to physical therapy, and had two series of injections with no relief. When the discussion of surgery came about, my family Dr (that I have trusted for many years) told me that Dr Tantorski will not perform an operation unless he is sure that it will help you. My mind was at ease in taking this step. I had my surgery about six months ago. I am now at the point that I have forgotten what it was like before surgery. The pain in my hips is gone, numbness and weakness gone. Without surgery, I was headed for a wheelchair, at age 60, I was not ready to embrace that. Dr. Tantorski and his staff are great, he took the time to explain things and made sure that I had everything I needed for a full recovery. They have a philosophy of partnering with the patient and creating a path for wellness. I won’t lie, there were some hard days after the surgery. I stayed the course, went to physical therapy, followed the plan. Today, I am very well, I go to 4 yoga classes a week and I am not limited in anything I want to do. I am thankful to Dr Tantorski and his staff, my life is good now, no wheelchair in sight.”
