  My wife and I went on the Herr's Snack Factory tour and our guide "Baily" was very nice and very knowledgeable about the operations of the factory and how everything was made. We saw several different areas where they were making potato chips, tortilla chips, and pretzels. We saw how they added the different spices and flavors and watched as the machines automatically moved the the products from one place to another, weighed them and then bagged and boxed them. It was all very interesting, and at the end, we got to sample hot potato chips right off the line and they were delicious! I highly recommend this tour!

  A quality family-owned business with an engaging tour that both kids and adults alike will enjoy. You get to see the inside of the factory, and even smell (and taste!) the freshly made chips right off the line. Friendly staff and good value.

  Great tour! Worth the time! Loved hearing the history and seeing it in action. It was hard to plan and make reservations, but we were glad we did! We even got to try some fresh chips and they gave us some snack bags to go!

  This was a fun tour if you are in the area. They give you fresh chips straight out of the fryer. I don't recommend going on a Friday. Half the factory was already closed for the weekend because they fulfilled the orders needed. Would have been nice to go when everything was running. Fun gift shop as well.

  Wow did the kids love this!! I had ages 7,4 and 2 and they loved this! They enjoyed watching how everything was done....but of course the highlight of the trip was being able to try the warm chips that had just been made! Price was low. Environment was very family friendly. We'll definitely do this tour again!
