Peaceful place to walk, run , hike or just relax with informative signs. Good variety of birds.
Had no idea this was here until a friend took me. Amazing. Such a nice place for a walk.
Binky Lee Preserve is a great example of how to restore over-farmed land back to a more natural state. The preserve has wetland, forested, and meadow areas. Natural Lands have made a special effort to create valuable nesting areas for Bobolink, Eastern Bluebird and Eastern Meadowlark whose populations have been declining because of loss of habitat. Natural Lands have planted over 50,000 native trees as part of their reforestation.
There are great trails though all the different habitat types.
This is a naturally beautiful preserve, and it is maintained with a high level of expertise and care. I bring my dogs here to run the trails, but I love to slow down and enjoy all the land has to offer. It's worth spending a couple of hours at Binky Lee just taking time to explore all of the trails and see the diverse ecosystems that are being cultivated here.
Tippy, my dog, and I LOVE coming here. The trails are beautiful, wide, clearly marked and the place is iconic Chester County gorgeous! Thank you for creating and preserving such an amazing space for all to love and enjoy!
