“I have been lucky enough to spend the last 2 months or so learning about nutrition from June Kuz. As a person with a panic disorder I am constantly seeking ways to manage my GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) through means other than medication. Learning more about nutrition seemed like a great option for me because a few years ago I had a huge uptick in panic that was solved by addressing a vitamin D deficiency that I had. Additionally, I was beginning to have fairly frequent stomach pains. June has helped me SO much with all of this After taking some tests to identify food sensitivities and vitamin deficiencies, June helped me to develop an eating plan that would help me give my body the nutrients it needs AND help me discover if any foods are triggering inflammation in my body. I thought I knew what foods were triggering my panic attacks and stomach pains before, but I never would have been able to guess without June's help and the help of the tests she suggested for me to take. Since seeing June a couple of months ago, I am amazed at the difference I am feeling in my health. My instances of panic have dropped by more than half, and when I do have a panic attack, I can often identify a food that contributed to it. I have only had stomach pains once since starting a new way of eating with June's help, and that episode helped me identify a new food for me to steer clear of (cilantro.. I never would have guessed!) Also, I have a TON more energy than before, I'm no longer light-headed when I exercise, AND I lost 5 pounds in the first 10 days of my new way of eating. It's not a diet--June has taught me an informed perspective about eating that will keep me healthy. I feel so great, the cravings for sweets are gone, and I feel like I finally understand how to care for myself through the choices I make with food. Thanks, June!”
