My husband, 2 daughters and I just moved into Parkside this Summer. My husband and oldest daughter who is 4, frequently would take Summer night time walks before bed. They would pass by the fire station in the evenings. Hearing from my husband of the kind people who allowed our daughter to sit in the fire truck, quite a few times warmed my heart. At first hearing the alarms go off at the station were alarming when we first moved here, but now we find them comforting. Thank you for all that you do. We are grateful for you going that extra mile and making our daughter and us, feel so welcomed in Parkside.
