Good amount of space. Plenty of poop bag dispensers. Completely fenced in and plenty of seating for hoomans. There's also plenty of balls (muddy/dirty as they are) in case your pup is as obsessed with balls as mine is.
Not a whole lot of grass though - went there in December 2018 and it's hard not to slip on the mud when trying to walk up the hill. Also there doesn't seem to be any kind of running water, well or hose. So if you go, think about drinking water for your pup(s) and how you'll clean them when it's time to go.
Great dog park with easy access and great volunteer support. Thanks to all the volunteers who make it work!
A nice dog park in a nice area! There are both large dog and small dog areas, a double gate to get in and out, space to run, logs to jump and climb on, doggie bags, water bowls, a pavilion and water spigot! Everyone that we met there was nice and paid attention to their dogs, making for a safe trip too
This great park has 2 sections for small and large dogs. In winter the water is shut off so make sure to bring your own. My dog loves how big the park is. It is sometimes muddy so wear good shoes. Always balls and sticks there.
I have a little Havanese puppy that's still afraid of the world. I'm working on socialization and decided to take him to the dog park. I really appreciated that this park has a small dog area as this trip would NOT have worked without one. He loved the space and even left my side to explore for a few seconds (major victory). We will definitely be back.
