“Went here with kids and they had a great time. The whole orchard is open for picking, minus some select areas, but only the in-season stuff is well maintained. Bring boots or sturdy shoes. It is a much smaller operation than nearby Linvilla, but I found it to be just as charming. Yes there is a $2.50 entry fee, so what? Other orchards charge for baskets, and they do not here. We picked apples and bought pears from the farm stand. Keep in mind everything is organic and it's a small family operation. Next time we will check out their fishing hole.”

“Fantastic for families! Spend a day here at the family entertainment center, go apple/ fruit picking, or hang out in the market. Perfect lazy Sunday activity. Only challenge was reaching the better apples at the tops of the trees. We took a basket home and made sauce, pies, and cider.”

“Our refrigerator wouldn't stay cold and there was a considerable amount of condensation inside, we called Gowen's based on reviews on a local Facebook site and I'm glad we did. Jason came out finding that out door seal strip wasn't on correctly and he fixed it on the spot. I had been fully prepared to pay for a major overhaul and initially doubted that it could be just a seal but its now been several months since his visit and the issue is completely resolved with only just over $100 out of pocket. Thanks for your honesty Jason, you could have taken (us) to the cleaners for all we knew but you started with the simplest and cheapest solution and that did the trick. Lawrence & Shelley Porter”
