“My uncle is at Manor Care (formally Wallingford Nursing Home) after a transfer from another rehab/nursing facility. He is happier at Manor Care. He still complains about the food being under par per his tastes, but praises the physical and occupational therapy care he receives there. I was at one session and the occupational therapist was pleasant, but focused and wouldn't let my uncle slack off. He wants to get home, so this slightly tough therapy will help accelerate his increased strength and balance to return home as soon as possible. The facility is clean and over my many visits, I have found the staff from nurses to CNA's to maintenance people helpful and pleasant. The rooms are roomier than at the previous facility and this pleases my uncle also. It helps that he lucked up and got a roommate who had a good sense of humor before being released today. The reason for four instead of five stars is because my uncle complains the meals arrives cool to lukewarm instead of hot. With so many rooms to service, I am not sure how this can be solved. Still it is understandably annoying to my uncle.”
