  Pizza is always been consistently the same has never changed up its always great has to be over 20 yrs I've been ordering from there

  We love Imperial Pizza. It's been there forever, the guys are great, like a family. Pizza's are ridiculously affordable, $6.95 for a large cheese! They bake with cornmeal on the bottom for what Local Delco natives call a "sandy pizza", crust is thin, the average turnaround time from order to pizza is around 10 minutes. I like extra cheese, but the rest of my family swears by the normal cheese, and pepperoni pizza as well. It's old enough that once you walk in it's like it's own little universe.

  Simple, decent pizza place with a short, traditional menu offering of pizza, cheesesteaks, etc. - no major menu additions like many local pizza places have been adding over the years, with wider food variety. But the cheesesteaks are very good and the pizza is good (expect it to be thin, and generally we would get extra cheese for an amount of cheese that was sufficient for us). Characteristic corn meal on bottom of pizza crust, which some people find excessive and/or rough on the mouth (although you can ask them to hold it).

  I love imperial pizza. I wasn’t aware it was open late. Tonight is a perfect example, when my sons ordered a pizza and are up late reviewing their Football plays for UD. Love this place, keep on going !!

If you've lived in this area of Delco for the majority of your life like I have, then you know their pizza well. Perhaps you call it the "sand pizza" due to the cornmeal dusting. It's good to have old reliable standards. This all being said, if you were to compare Imperial Pizza to some of the better pizzas in the area, it would lose.

imperial Pizza - I just went to imperial pizza which i used to do alot years ago...the pizza was always above average for a good price$6 or so...now the cheese has a tart taste and the price was like 8 bucks for a bad tasting pizza.....shame to see a store thats been around so long to drop off so bad....Hope it improves.
