“I'm a local Property Manager and I've worked with Cavalier for a few projects in the past year and a half. Through every step of the project there has been clear and constant communication from them. Their pricing is competitive but their follow-up is second to none! Everyone I have worked with has been professional and helpful! Even when we hit snags (outside of our control) during projects, they took a patient and collaborative approach and we were able to quickly find solutions. I highly recommend them!”

“Today was heavy! I've been doing a lot of ancestral work and retracing my roots. My grandmother died in 1966. I never knew her but learned she was buried here. I read the other reviews and thought to myself uhoh is this place going to be able to help me. I called yesterday and left a message. This morning Judy called and within 1 minute was able to tell me that my grandmother was there and where. My grandmother was buried in a public lot because my family did not have money (something I never knew) to buy a private plot. There is no grave marking but the place on these grounds where public graves are is absolutely BREATHTAKING! The groundsman left me alone and I wept for all the Black ancestors who did not have money to bury their loved ones privately. But I am grateful that Mt. Lawn Cemetery still honors those by keeping their records and maintaining the grounds. I was overwhelmed by the energy of the public grave site, not to mention it rained as soon as I walked onto the soil and stopped once I stood under the tree and thanked it for sprouting forth roots of love for those buried there. I will upload a photo of the tree that governs the public grave sites. It's magical!”
