I visit Brownsville infrequently and have visited this restaurant over the years when it was under different management. These owners appear to have brought a fresh attitude for success. I ate there twice. Once in the downstairs bar area on wings night. Very good wings that were reasonably priced. Small but decent selection of beer. No smoking was a huge plus. Dinner in the main dining room was very good. The décor and ambiance are great. The upstairs rooms have been finished nicely and offer a great setting for small private dinners. I wish them the best.”

“By far the best Philly cheesesteak I have ever had!! Buffalo chicken salad was good, would have been better with crispy chicken rather than grilled, but the Buffalo sauce made up for it. Wings were awesome. My kid got flavors I didn’t prefer, but you could just tell the boneless wings were just perfect even though I didn’t prefer the sauce on them. You have to try this place, just awesome food.”

“Bootleggers locally owned, more bar then restaurant. Waitress was nice and took good care of us and neighboring tables. Food was prepared quickly. I got old bay dozen wings, a little too much old bay, but were fried perfectly. I also had fries, fresh cut. As a table we got the fried zucchini. I enjoyed the shaved zucchini but breading didn't have much flavor. Over all experience was good.”

“The food was fantastic and all homemade. The blue cheese dressing was insane, it had a sweet taste to it and the steak on the steak salad was real steak and blackened and grilled to perfection. The chicken parm was the special and was excellent and was a huge large portion also for the money. Italian dressing also homemade was awesome on the house salad that was overflowing with flavor and lots of extras. The owners were there and were super friendly and sweet and even offered local info of “must sees” in the area!!! Thanks again for a fantastic evening that didn’t break the bank!! Did I mention the drinks were ice cold and reasonable at 3 bucks a bottle for beer!!”

“First time there it was really nice. However when you first walk it it would be nice to be able to speak with someone regarding reservations. We were kinda lost. Had reservations for golf and dinner. First time golfing the simulator was not sure how to set up and get started etc. Food was excellent! Wood fired pizza and garlic Parm wings! 😋. Golf was very fun! We enjoyed having our own pub table a few beers and a round of golf. Will definitely go back, especially now we know what we are doing... Well somewhat. 😉”
