  My husband is there now. There was not wait time in the e.r!! The doctors and nurses have been awesome. We were very worried about going there due to the reviews but emergencies don’t wait it turned out to be completely different thank goodness. He is being checked out with the total works and has said nothing but great things. Thank you guys for doing such a great job

  My grandmother unfortunately slipped into a coma, and I was given the choice whether or not to let her pass away. I decided to do so, but instead of pulling the plug, they erected an elaborate guillotine around her bed, decapitating her. I thought it was overkill but the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

  You get some rude nurses, you get really nice an amazing ones. I had a mixture of both.. One of the nurses was way out of line and made me cry and feel horrible BUT that was 1 nurse and the hospital does not deserve a horrible review over 1 person.. The Hospital Manager was very nice and apologized and fixed the issue. Every nurse had different opinions on the pacifier while breastfeeding which made it hard but of course they will, it's a matter of opinion.

  I work for the Chambersburg Hospital/Summit Health and I find it to be a place that is striving to make things better for patients and our community. I don't think Franklin County knows how many health related activities that Summit supports and the work it does to educate people on cancer, childhood obesity, healthy eating and so much more. No place is perfect, but we are all striving for excellence in taking care of our neighbors, friends and family.
