  I've been to several DMVs in three different states over the years, and I have to say that the employees at the Chambersburg branch are definitely the nicest and most helpful I've encountered. Yes, you will likely have a fairly considerable wait time due to the amount of foot traffic this facility receives, but the employees' upbeat attitudes and consideration make the wait much less painful than a typical DMV visit. Thanks for the great service!

  Good people. If getting a photo just go on Tuesday and virtually no wait because it’s the only service that day.
  
  Otherwise, expect a 1-2 hour wait. It takes time. Always lots of people their.
  
  If you want to be a decent human being to everyone waiting, then do your homework and make sure you have everything you need upon arrival. The clientele are the reason for delays and problems. I’ve witnessed it. In fact, I would rally a vote to remove licenses from many of the people that grace the floor of the dmv. It’s utterly terrifying the people that are allowed on the road. We need a reality TV show for this. It’s worse than “the people of Walmart”. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you are probably in this category.

  This is the best DMV it is night and day from carsile. The wait time is more but it is worth it. The costumer care is excellent and everybody is welcoming and not rude. Shout out to Karen at the front desk and Charles who gave me my drivers exam he along with Karen listened to me and help me. Charles really helped me calm down before my test with jokes and all around being a nice guy. Thanks.

  Took my road test several weeks ago for the second time and had a really good experience! My instructor the first time could have loosened up a bit, but so be it. I failed on parallel parking partially because he had me pull in at an angle which I had not been practicing doing. Second instructor had me pull in straight to park. He was very friendly and made me feel really at ease so I wasn't very nervous. All in all, I would say that I had a pretty good experience as well as with the staff inside and I didn't have to wait to get my picture done! Instructor was behind on testing so I did have to wait to take the test but it wasn't a big deal. I had heard of bad experiences with Carlisle and I didn't feel I had one with Chambersburg!
