Have been a customer of grays for over a year now and have taken 3 different boats to him.. having had BAD experiences with other “repair shops” I was at first concerned about would the work be done correctly and how much would I be “ Gouged for”!!!! Rest assured these are NO LONGER ISSUES IM CONCERNED WITH GOING TO GARYS!! The work is beyond “good” it is the BEST… prices are BEYOND FAIR!!! The first question Gary asked me the first time was “how much do you want to invest in this motor?” Well that was AT FIRST scary… BUT I learned Gary is ALSO VERY HONEST!!!! Instead of over charging me or charging me “that amount “ he changed me the cost of the repair/service and not a penny more to get that “extra money “… he came in under the agreed amount… his mechanic Mike Leatherman is TOP NOTCH!!! Both Gary and Mike are very personable and don’t forget to give “Ruby” a treat!!!! She will let you know quickly where they are and what she wants!!!!! If you need ur boat/ trailer/ motor repaired or serviced… give Gary a call!!! LEAVE HIM A MESSAGE and he will get back to you!!! You will be GLAD you did!!
Gary has been keeping my boat in tpo running condition for 20 years. He and mike just completed an engine upgrade to a 175 four stroke. he helped locate a new motor and performed the changeout for under $400.00. wouldn't take my boat to anyone else.
The best repair shop ever!!! Had my moter go underwater last year Mr Gary turned my $398 bill to a $185 bill. Today he changed all my gaskets ,cleaned my carburetor, changed my lower unit gear oil, new spark plugs, greased all my grease housings, and smoothed out my prop. For $213.50 that would have been big $ in DC. He's worth the 1 1/2 drive.
