This restaurant would not only be comfortable in Philadelphia but also in West Hollywood, Brooklyn, or Manhattan. They are big on local too, going out of their way to source as much locally as possible. Yet they accomplish all of this without a drop of arrogance or pretentiousness that often accompanies fine dining. Alter does charge fine dining prices but really you get more than what you pay for with each visit. Definitely, definitely check this place out.”
