  I have had the privilege of staying at this location twice. BOTH times it was an over-the-top experience. From the accomodations, to the ambiance to the dining it was a top-notch experience. The Innkeepers are empathic, caring individuals who anticipated our needs and made us feel like royalty. The area is rife with antique-shops, mentionable dining and the opportunity to learn more about our Central PA neighbors, the Amish and Mennonite enclaves. If you ever find yourself near Lancaster, take a bit of a drive northwest and have a stay. You will NOT be disappointed; $$$$-service for $$-expenditure.

  Wonderful location for Berks County Jazz Festival. We stayed at one of the cottages. Lovely old charm decor. Warm and friendly hospitality. Everything you could ever need for the weekend.

  We chose the Ruby suite and it's excellent. Very luxurious, steam room, hot tub & lots of space. The hosts are nice. The location is between reading and lancaster, so it was perfect for our weekend of going to those two places.
