(March 1, 2018, 8:30 pm)This parking lot leads you down a paved path to a large pavilion and more then 180 degree overview of the reservoir. This is an area that wildlife, in particular, waterfowl photographers “flock” to for an array of bird and other wildlife pictures. Plenty of bald eagle sightings on the reservoir and is the most popular spot to go to observe and photograph the snow geese and tundra swans when they stop by. A lot of this area is roped/wired off as the game commission has deemed it a propagation area as such and expect visitors to respect the signage.
