  I know first impressions can be misleading, but after stopping in today for the first time I would give them 10 stars if I could. I was hesitant to switch from CVS, but after my child with a chronic illness was regularly missing doses of medication because they were not being filled when I ordered them, I took the plunge. The people at the Medicine Shoppe were very welcoming, kind and informative. I really got the feeling that is was more than just a job to them. The owner was working behind the counter which tells me he is invested. I left with sufficient supplies of all the medications I needed, lollipops for the kids, and a sense that we will be taken care of.

  This team has got to be the best pharmaceutical team in the county! They are all about customer service. They are fast, reactive, friendly and know most of their customers by name. Kudos to Steve and his entire team. I am beyond grateful for the commitment and service!

  Back in 2013 was the first time I strolled into the small pharmacy. I only thought about it being small only because i had been trained most others all my life to believe until I die that bigger is better and that the smaller business will fail like the rest small business do when they face the might of the giants.
  after six months living there and paying 155 out of pocket for my medicine each month I started to become really angered. Then a few months it jumped ten bucks more and I was paying 165-170. I called around to many pharmacies all the time the previous 3 years since first paying the high cost , but to no avail. every pharmacy had within 20 dollar ranges as the final cost. The range of the other was tough to bear that feeling of an actual bear your giving a lift on your shoulders just so it will sleep and not again rip apart your night.
  
  I walked into the friendliest staff that all appeared up like ostriches heads look coming up from eating upon the ground grass behind the wall. They all had quickly hello'd out to me their kindness filled mortar shells that burst loud all the noise of the world in that moment and I didn't know who or where I was for a second or two, but shook it off like some song i was hearing on the radio that I should do.
  
  My prescription was ready no more than five or ten minutes later, and in that time I learned that that hello and greeting they all do from where ever they are working from in that moment. I learned also that when I turn to leave and head toward that door, i'll be shot right in my back many times all at once one will fire a goodbye and than you and the others including the pharmacist counting pills back there they even join in the friendly bliss that's laughing at the experience
  
  These things that I explained i hold true in me, I really do. I tell you ,
  Listen to me when I tell you that if you are looking for the best drugs money can buy, then head to Columbia, Pennsylvania. Home of the medicine shoppe the best place to buy legal prescription drugs, I believe.
  I give them 5 stars out of 5 stars!
  
  I rarely give five star, unless you're an amazing buffet, but I have to when you hear how much they charged for my same prescription . the prescription that the big pharmacy said it had to charge and wouldn't relent for anyone, the 155 dollars i paid a month until lost my job and came here to the medicine shoppe for good now.
  
  I paid 94 dollars that first time, and i went there and compared to $150 plus dollars I had just spent every month for the last 3 plus years at those other places and wonder why? could my government look into those things that are evil in pharmaceutical costs I can at least now breath because its been 5 years and think about how much this little Medicine Shoppe saved me.
  
  I have since had to move away from Columbia, but I have a medicine shoppe close to me in the city. They don't don't hoot and holla welcoming you to and from the doors when you enter and that's the game changer lol
