(January 21, 2020, 6:27 pm)This park is right off the Northwest River Trail which is paved all the way to Columbia, PA. The trail continues west on a gravel section which is soon to be paved another 4 miles. The park looks over a wide section of the river near an island where you often see fishermen, kayakers and boat enthusiasts. 2 boat launches are nearby for kayakers. There is a bar across the tracks and access to family bathrooms along the trail with plenty of parking.
