  Fishing Creek gets quite wide here near the parking area and when it's dry, the water level is low enough to walk in the creek. It's less popular than other local preserves, so it's a great place to go to if you want peace and quiet. I recommend walking along the creek and explore one of the paths that branch from that, as the main path carved across the stream is a bit drab. Take note of the boundaries on the map by the entrance and keep an eye out for "no trespassing" signs as the area brushes up against a few wooded private property lines. Across the road, there's another path buries in the woods. If you walk along the road towards Oregon Hollow road, you see it a few hundred yards away from the parking lot on the right. It's a nice short trail that provides a nice view of the valley.
  
  I'd say you could spend about three hours here and kill the main trail and majority of the stream.
