  My husband has been a patient of Dr. Kaufman's for over 35 years. Dr. Kaufman is an excellent dentist with very dentistry standards. All of the people who work at The Family Dentist on Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, are very professional and pleasant.

  o Professional and kind with definite compassion and ease;
  o Thorough dental and medical forms for you to provide your health history;
  o Insurance review and they will get you quotes for work necessary so you can be aware up front of the costs;
  o The office takes a plethora of insurances;
  o The office will work with you if you don't have coverage;
  o Very personable people! You can relax and hold a good conversation;
  o Thorough cleaning and x-rays;
  o Thorough review of the work that needs to be done with options;
  o Scheduling is timely for visit and/or work;
  o Referrals if the work cannot be done there but only a few things cannot be;
  o Easy parking;
  o Handicap accessible;
  o Genuine care to assist you with your need;
  o The office does share area with an audiologist;
  o The main desk is right inside the door foyer;
  o Honest people;
  o Office decor is homelike;
  o Legitimate business with compliance of medical, dental, and insurance licenses and medical licenses.
  
  Yes I found I definitely like this practice. I don't find the location in a mall being a concern. The parking is ample and close to the office door. They work with your schedule and decisions. The practice does have rules but then what office doesn't...

  BTW I did have a broken crown. So it is being fixed. Also I had a bad cavity which was cared for and it's wonderful. I'm a happy consumer with the practice. I found my comfort zone. Kathy and Dr. Kaufman are the best! We had a lively conversation and have similar common ground. The office staff are terrific! There is a fine line balance with patient scheduling and doctor/dentist availability but here the whole process is to work with your schedule within the office hours.

  Kathy was my hygienist and she was awesome. She loves what she does and she was very helpful and informative. Everyone was very nice there.
