Dr P is the most caring n excellent dr. I was scared to get my first eye shot but Dr P reassured me n helped me through the first shot. Love him n it has been three years n he is as great as ever.

My spouse had to have surgery for a macular pucker. Dr. Gewaily was fantastic from start to finish! She took her time to explain the procedure, gave excellent followup care and is very personable. I'd give her more than 5 starts if I could!
I have been a patient of Dr Gewaily for 14 months and very sad to leave her excellent care as my husband and I have relocated to northern PA. When I first met her and the staff, I was very apprehensive about what to expect as far as eye injections. She answered all my questions professionally and compassionately. Being a RN I had many! She has always been honest with me and forthright with giving me her professional opinion. I value her expertise more than I can express. The staff at Retina Specialists have equally been professional, compassionate and friendly. I will miss this wonderful practice and the employees and can only say when it comes to saving your eyesight, this is the place to seek! Thank you everyone at Lancaster Retina Specialists, especially Dr Gewaily!
Despite an overcrowded waiting room and a very long wait to be prepped to see Dr. Gewaily, I am giving 5 stars. The staff here are professional, friendly and upbeat and Dr. Gewaily is an excellent, personable, caring, professional doctor. From the receptionists at check in to the person who schedules surgeries, and everyone in between, everyone was top notch. Had I known the wait would be so long (I spent over 2 1/2 hours there total), I would have brought a phone charger to keep my phone and Kindle charged, plus a better snack, maybe some crocheting to keep me busy! Do not be put off by the long wait time...it is worth the good care you will receive here. Just be prepared. Despite my absolute crankiness over waiting well over an hour just to get out of the waiting room, the staff remained courteous and patient with me. My only suggestion would be that they provide more chairs for patients waiting to see the doctors.
