(July 20, 2019, 1:04 pm)I used to rave about this place. Not anymore. So disappointed in this store’s customer service. Scale, mites and aphids are understandable to find on this place’s plants, as they are in every greenhouse...but live cockroaches!? I asked to speak with someone and I was told I would get a call back. I never did. All I wanted was refunded, as who wants to bring a house plant with cockroaches and eggs into their house? Always treat/repot your plants, people. Especially if you buy from here.
Edit to review: esbenshade’s finally contacted me. The plant that contained cockroaches was actually grown in another facility and transported to them. They have apologized and even offered a refund. They have also stated they will be more cautious with plants shipped to them. The great customer service is still here. I understand everyone makes mistakes and I plan to continue purchasing from them.
(May 9, 2019, 4:45 pm)I was there alone with my baby in a carrier with a lot of plants and one of the employees took my potting soil to the cash register and another loaded it into my car and took my cart back with him. It was a big help and he went the extra mile I wasn’t expecting for me. I’ll definitely come back.
(April 17, 2019, 4:57 pm)Friendly service, always a large variety of indoor, outdoor and garden plants. Large selection of planters and garden tools. Lots of chimes and fairy garden supplies. I love going here even if it is just to look around.

(717) 626-7007. Our favorite garden center. Has a large selection of plants and all the things you need for planting. Glad to buy local, rather than from the big Esbenshade's is awesome! I'm no gardening expert, but we do frequent many nurseries and garden centers as we landscape our new yard.
