  I've had the pleasure of meeting and learning from Eric at Quarter Bend Guitar Studio. As a fellow Guitar Instructor I can testement that Eric really know's his stuff. His unique approach to teaching guitar inspired me to make some major changes in my own teaching and the results for my students have been through the roof. If you wanna get the absolute best guitar lessons, I don't believe you can go anywhere better than Quarter Bend.

  I owned a guitar or two for 20 years. Like many unfocused hobbyists, I strummed the same chords and played the same tunes for much of that time. Seeking more, I took a chance with Eric at Quarter Bend. In less than 6 months I went from playing in my basement to having the confidence to play open mics on a regular basis. I owe an entirely new appreciation for music, guitar technique, and performance capability to Eric. He is the Mr. Miyagi of the guitar world.

  I love music...I bought a guitar and wanted to learn guitar so I could sing (I love to sing) and play music that I liked with my friends at various open mic nights. I have attempted teaching myself other instruments and have lost interest after not making progress with the skills necessary to reach my goals. Well all that has changed with Quarter Bend Guitar Studio. Eric is a most excellent guitar teacher. His teaching methods are varied an fun. He teaches concepts and methods of guitar playing instead of just teaching you how to play songs. His lessons are applicable for all skill levels from the beginner (me) to advanced players. Just after two months of lessons I have the skills necessary to play chords to many of my favorite songs and I am gaining confidence to be able to perform in front of my friends. I am also learning how to use various types of scales and playing techniques to do solo guitar riffs as well. The lessons are fun and varied, from guitar fundamentals, training and practice methods to my favorite lesson Blues Fundamentals. If you ever wanted to learn to play guitar, the Quarter Bend Guitar Studio should be your first choice. Join the Quarter Bend Community of Musicians and be ready to have fun and play guitar.

  I owe a lot to Quarter Bend. I started guitar lessons with Eric two years ago, after a few months of trying to teach myself with little to no results. In two years, I've gone from beginner guitarist to accepted to Berklee College of Music. Eric is an amazing teacher, to say the least. He understands the needs of every student, and works hard to develop a curriculum and a way of teaching that makes you a better guitarist after every lesson. Eric is extremely professional, and will answer any question you have without judgement- he will simply explain the concept and give you the tools to practice it, understand it, and use it.
  
  The community at Quarter Bend Guitar Studio is a wonderful addition to the supurb teaching. Being able to see everyone around you grow and develop as guitarists is inspiring. The passion Eric has for music, for guitar, extends into his students and comes out in their guitar playing.
  
  I've never worked harder than in my time at Quarter Bend. My love for music only grew as I learned more and more. With every question I had, Eric had something new for me to explore. From music theory to jazz improv to anything else you can possibly think up. The community inspired me to just keep getting better and to keep working. I went from timid, so shy that I would shake when asked to solo, to being confident enough to audition for Berklee, get an A on a performance final, and start exploring open mic nights with the Quarter Bend Lead Guitar group. I haven't just learned how to play a few songs on guitar. I've been taught a skill that has helped me grow as a person beyond anything I could have imagined.
  
  Eric also has free coffee (and tea), if quality teaching didn't quite sell you.

  Eric is amazing! My daughter takes lessons with him and we like his style so much that my husband started with him too! He is very personable and lessons are fun and focused. He recognizes areas of struggle and will provide individualized goals to help each student succeed. My take on him is that he just really enjoys music, specifically guitar, and he wants to share that with others!
