  A one mile walk/hike circling the Lake. Feels like a mini vacation. Put phone down, but have camera ready to take plenty of pictures. Lovely in all 4 seasons! A must see for everyone who lives in Lancaster, imo.

  Great little lake... Lots of fish! Nice short hiking trails... Little bit of hill here and there... Fun place for the kids and adults too!

  This is a nice little lake/park area near silver springs, Pa. Dogs are not permitted. Nor is anything in/on the water; swimming, ice fishing, boating, etc. Fishing is permitted and is pretty good at times. Bass and bluegill are most common. There is a nice little kids playground off the trail.

* Lake Grubb has some spots as deep as 180-feet deep. * The website says there is a playground but I didn't see one? I enjoyed the scenery of Grubb Lake but was not impressed with the hiking trail. When I arrived I realized that they do not allow dogs on the trail, which I found odd.

Grubb Lake trail, near Ironville Pike, is closed due to unsafe conditions caused by Mother Nature. We are not sure how long it will remain closed and there is no safe way to get around the closed portion. Location: The park is located along Hempfield Hill Road, 1/2 mile south of Marietta Avenue.
