“This is an Amish shop that only works on starters and alternators. They removed and rebuilt my alternator for less than the price of the new alternator part from mechanic (plus my mechanic would have charged me for 2 hours labor in addition). I was very impressed with Wilmer. He was able to explain the process of the rebuild and which components were replaced. The only downside is they often need your vehicle for two days. Day 1 they remove the alternator, examine it, and then order the replacement components required. Day 2 the parts come in, it is assembled and reinstalled and vehicle is ready for pickup. My mechanic could have done it in one day but I was able to save some money coming to Pequea Alternator & Starter. Wilmer also noticed some of the pulleys that my serpentine belt runs through were not spinning freely and he replaced a clutch pully, idler pully and tensioner pully which were wearing out. Hopefully my 13 year old vehicle's alternator will be good for another decade plus.”
