“Christiana is full of history but underrated. The Christiana Riot was a key event in the abolishment of slavery. From the underground railroad, to the Zercher's Hotel, where the museum is located, to the location of the old Riot House (marked with a sign), there is so much to see and learn. Occasionally, Christiana will have an open house at the museum or a full town tour to commemorate the Riot. During those times there is a lot to see. People will be dressed up, food will be available and much more. Otherwise, the museum is very basic and a quick visit. But interesting, nonetheless.”
