  I had never been here before this was my 1st time. How did I decide to give them a try? Well I just found out the place I normally take my car for inspection and minor repairs since moving here 5yrs ago, recently shut down. I was due for inspection so I went online looked for car repair near me that would do inspection and read the reviews. Steve's was I hate to admit this NOW lol????only because other's had more reviews not really better one's, but I'm a woman and I didn't see one review from a woman on their website. When I called a couple of other places 3 to be exact I was a little nervous because I didn't have any kind of customer relationship with any of these places. All 3 that I had called could not get me in for 7-10 day's. I'm thinking??? What's up with that? This has never happened to me ever lol so I decided just to call Steve's n see, thinking they always look so busy when I drive by daily on my way home. But to my surprise they could get me in within 2-3days I decided to make my appointment for 5day's later. Now here's how I feel they definitely deserve all 5 ????'s. Well I didn't think I needed any kind of high $ work to pass inspection because everything seemed good to go in my opinion I even had just put new wipers on cause in the past when repair shops couldn't in my opinion find something wrong to charge me CRAZY $ for they twice unnecessary replaced wipers for $97.00 both times. I was NOT happy as both times I was not informed until picking the car back up. So when Steve's called n said I needed new strut's because of a leak ($500. for all 4 btw) I thought it was a lie. So a very rudely I said NO THANK YOU! Then went to get my car n on the way, I was thinking it was weird he didn't get rude back. He just said ok whatever I wanted to do was fine with him. I arrived an hr. later n they were all busy n one on the phone with a customer asking about pricing on something, n still was just as nice n polite as they all had been when I dropped the car off. So he explained that I had 30days to get the shocks replaced wherever or however I wanted and they would then put the stickers on n then charged me only for the inspection n to my surprise it was the cheapest I have ever been charged where I was previously going. Come to find out not only was he so kind n polite when talking to me but he was also HONEST n didn't over charge me for anything. I then thought he was probably telling me the truth n the work needed to be done so I checked n even Google agreed. I felt like Steve's Transmission Inc. definitely earned my business so I choose in the end to have them also do the repairs so I made another appointment n had it done a few days later. Just get my car back yesterday n drove about 4hrs now. I can definitely tell a difference from before the repairs. I have no regrets glad things worked out. I will definitely choose to get any future repairs done here n when I return to work Monday I will be telling all the girl's there to bring their cars here too..... Thank you for the GREAT experience. I really appreciate your honesty. WITHOUT QUESTION I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND????

  Steve's years ago I did business with Steve's years ago he did a very good job on my transmission. I have an appointment to get another truck worked on and I expect the same good service that I got years ago. His prices are very reasonable.

  I needed a transmission for my 2008 Ford F150. I called around a few shops and they all told me that they couldn't give me a price without taking my truck apart and that they would charge me just to give me a quote. I was pretty disgusted and really stuck because my truck was sitting in my driveway - dead. A friend told me to call Steve's. I was about to give up, but I called. Steve, the owner, asked me for the VIN and explained that he could identify the right transmission from the VIN alone with about 80%+/- confidence. He said if he could see the number on the transmission pan it would be better. He told me how to find it which took some doing on my part, but I found it and gave it to him. He gave me a price a third of what the other shops "guessed" at and told me that he was pretty sure he could get the correct trans, but worst case scenario he would have to swap it after getting into the vehicle. Either way - he gave me his word that the price was firm. I went for it -- had my truck towed to his shop. The unit he had ordered was exactly the right one. My truck was done in 1 day and he didn't charge me a dollar more than what he quoted me. This guy has my total confidence and I recommend him to anyone having transmission issues.
