Words cannot express how grateful I am to Suparna and her team. I had been dealing with severe symptoms of RSI for nearly two years. I was unable to type at all and could only sustain handwriting for about 10 minutes before I experienced significant pain, discomfort, or weakness. Over this two-year time period, I saw multiple hand surgeons and other medical specialists. Additionally, I tried physical therapy, myofascial release therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, and a number of other options, all in hopes of finding some form of relief for my symptoms. Nothing worked.
My symptoms were so severe that I had to put off going to grad school because I simply could not handle the physical rigor that would be required. Like many others suffering from RSI, I began to feel quite distraught - even depressed - imagining that my future career, education, and way of life (I struggled to do simple tasks at home: clean, cook, etc.) were at risk of being jeopardized. I truly thank God that I stumbled upon Suparna's book, and after months of consideration, decided to move temporarily to Allentown, PA to receive treatment. After several weeks at the Center, I am now in much better shape. I can handwrite with no trouble/symptoms and can type for several hours a day. Additionally, Suparna and her staff have helped me experience complete relief from my symptoms doing all household activities and near-complete relief when performing weight bearing exercises, which I was completely unable to do before arriving here.
The best news is that my recovery is still underway. Suparna and her staff have equipped me with the knowledge I need to continue managing my recovery upon my return to my home state. Having spent almost two years and countless dollars trying to address my RSI issues prior to arriving at the Damany Center, seeing so many doctors at a nationally recognized private university hospital, I can say without a doubt that Suparna and her staff perform the seemingly impossible, helping patients truly heal from their RSI as opposed to just managing.
If you have any concerns or questions about the Center, do not hesitate to call. They are super helpful and will patiently answer any questions you may have. Please - do not think this is too good to be true and continue to live with your RSI symptoms. There is a solution.

I was suffering from chronic hip and leg pain when I first came to the Damany Center. It is anchored in osteoarthritis but was exacerbated by extreme muscle tightness and associated intense nerve pain down my entire leg. Suparna and her team have been absolutely wonderful, so patient and caring working with me to help me regain significant mobility and relief from constant chronic pain. They've taken time to educate me about my condition and progress along the way. I had previously worked with two other physical therapy clinics and seen two orthopedic doctors who treated me with injections with no significant results. The therapy at Damany Center involves intense deep tissue work to break up muscle adhesions and allows the tissue to heal. While progress has been understandable slow, Suparna and her staff have been incredibly supportive and encouraging and I've made great progress. I've gone from barely being able to walk a half a block without limping in pain to being able to take short hikes and walks with my dog. I'm optimistic about continued success without surgery or medications!

Suparna and Dave have shown me that chronic pain does not have to be a normal part of my life. I came to them with debilitating pain in my shoulders, constant tingling/numbness in my fingers and hands, and shooting nerve pain in my arms. This was the second time I had experienced pain and other symptoms so severe that I had to stop working. As a pianist and music festival director, almost all of my work involves using my upper body in repetitive ways - playing the piano up to 6 hours a day combined with many hours of typing at a laptop. I feared that because my previous injury had returned, I might never fully recover and heard only doom and gloom from everyone I turned to. With Suparna and Dave's help, I am now feeling physically stronger and more flexible than I have ever felt in my life, and can play with no pain - something I have never experienced in a regular way until now.

I have worked with many physical and occupational therapists over the years. Suparna's vast knowledge and understanding of the body, holistic techniques, methodical approach, and last but not least, kindness and positivity, are completely unique. I have never worked with a physical therapist who could accurately identify and address any pain or nerve issue - her work is magical! The best thing is that she and Dave have helped me to see my healthy future - I am working towards a sustainable exercise/stretching routine that I can maintain myself with monthly check-ins so that my issues will not return in the future. I can't recommend Suparna and her team enough (and I am recommending them to everyone I can!).

I have been going here for physical therapy here for my upper back and neck injuries, and I can't say enough about the excellent staff. The practice is holistic based that relies on manual manipulation of the body to help repair injuries, and the owner has over 20 years experience in the field. They teach you how to do the exercises and stretching at home. There is also a strength training fitness center downstairs that has a certified fitness trainer there to help build muscle as you progress. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

For the 1st time in along time I felt like someone was trying to actually help me and understood my pain. Not push pills at me or belittle me. Mary and James worked with me.
