  I was in kidspeace when I was 15. I will be 26 in a few months and i still find myself thinking back to this place and the absolutely amazing people i met there, both staff and other patients.
  
  I was in 2 other places prior to this for severe depression and I had felt both times like I was some kind of animal in a cage. At Kidspeace I felt like I was at a summer camp and I quickly formed a bond with the staff and made so many friends. I felt like they were my best friends and we always had fun.
  
  All the nurses and staff were mostly young and they understood what it was like being a teenager, they were very laid back.
  
  I dont know if Justin, Sam and Ryan are still working there or not but I owe them a great deal as they constantly pushed me to do better and I cant say it enough how relaxed I felt there... I wish I could go back just to thank them for all they did and just enjoy the nostalgia for awhile. I really miss that place at times.
  
  I highly recommend this place, it's a gorgeous facility and its kept very clean. The doctors were great and the treatment involved 1 on 1 talks with both the counselors and the staff. It really made a difference because I felt like even the staff CARED so much about each of us. They understand.

  My 13 year old was here due to some major aggression issues and being physically abusive towards me, a behavior that was learned elsewhere. They helped him here and he came back better, when I say better, I mean he was no longer violent towards me, and no more aggressive behavior, and uncontrollable anger. I have my boy back, and want to say thank you to the staff at Kid's Peace for helping him to learn to harness his emotions rather than lash out like he was. As a parent when something is going on in our child's life we want to fix it. I tried to fix the situation by myself, thinking I could take it all on by myself, but that wasn't working, and realized sometimes you have to let the professionals step in and help. I'm glad that I did. He is still receiving family based therapy which benefits us as a family and also will be starting counseling in September. Thank you for all the work you do in helping children realize their true potential and cope with their emotions in a way that is not destructive to themselves or others!

  That place genuinely helped. I went in a juvenile disobedient law breaker and came out someone who wants better. Staff listen and care about what you have to say and how you feel. Trully amazing. The food was poor. Thats why only four stars.
