“I work with a large elderly population so I have come in contact with many different personnel from many different agencies. When my 96 year old mother needed daily assistance, I did some research and called some contacts looking for recommendations on a good home health care agency in the area. Right at Home was the recommendation that I received. After meeting with Ben, the Owner to discuss my mother’s needs, we started working with their service. Most of the people that were sent by Right at Home were excellent, others were very good. They treated my mother very well and believe me if they had not I would have heard about it! She came to like the women who were coming to help her and she would look forward to seeing them. She knew who was coming and what days they would be there. Ben and Paula from Right at Home did their best to keep us advised of changes and cancellations and they did their absolute best to find a replacement if a scheduled caregiver was ill. When any other issue arose, Ben or Paula would call personally to discuss the problem and work toward a solution. We used Right at Home for about 1 ½ years until my mother needed 24 hour care and had to go to an assisted living facility and overall were very happy with them. I have personally recommended Right at Home in Whitehall to at least 3 other friends who were looking for help.”

“Had two separate experiences with Dr. Kinney that weren’t very positive. The first was very brief so I won’t review based on that. This review is based on my second experience. Although I understood Dr. Kinney’s position and limitations regarding our court ordered co-parenting counseling he didn’t and/or wouldn’t understand my ex’s limitations to be able to co-parent at all. He also had little understanding of covert aggression and the impact covert emotional abuse has on an individual. Dr. Kinney could not accept the reality of the situation and my ex was able to manipulate him thoroughly. While I feel Dr. Kinney had some good ideas they unfortunately weren’t applicable in my situation. I gave 4 stars because Dr. Kinney was sadly deceived and didn’t have the professional expertise to see the situation for what is was.”
