(July 26, 2018, 9:56 am)While on a trip to N.Y. from Texas, my car broke down on I-81. I had my daughter and 1 year old granddaughter with me and it was 2am. Terrifying! The people at ACT were phenomenal! They had us towed and safe in less than 10 minutes. We needed a hotel and was given a ride there...what other shop would do that????
We were taken where the car would be worked on, told EXACTLY what was wrong and given an accurate time frame of when the work would be done. How do I know what was wrong EXACTLY? I do most of the work on my car but didn't have the proper tools to replace my driveshaft figuring it would hold until we got to N.Y. (I'll never do THAT again) They were truthful and up front from the very beginning!
I'm really glad they're 24 hours and as friendly and professional as they were. We were made to feel comfortable and safe and that meant the world to us. If I should ever go through PA along 81 again and have the misfortune of another vehicular mishap, I know who I'll be calling! -
