We had our rehearsal dinner at Magnilia Streamside Resort in September and were thoroughly impressed with the the delicious farm to table menu, lovely atmosphere and top notch service. We stayed in the “love shack” cabin which was absolutely adorable and exactly what we wanted. Our friends and family who stayed in the cabins are still talking about what a fun weekend it was. We would highly recommend Magnolia Streamside Resort to host your event, for a getaway with friends and family, or for a peaceful retreat.

Wow!!! What a beautiful place. The stream was roaring, it was magical. The layout was perfect for my bridal party and immediate family, we all had a little space to ourselves when needed and could easily come together in common areas. 2 of the cabins were dog friendly, so my pup was able to join! The staff was wonderful. We had a beautiful first look on the bridge! Everyone enjoyed the presence of the chickens roaming around.

Definitely one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at! I settled there for two days/one night with three of my friends, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The cabin was clean, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool during the day and the campfire in the evening. I would recommend this place for family reunions, romantic couple getaways, or friends get-togethers. Looking forward to my next time stopping here with my family and spending some quality time with the nature.

I really enjoyed our weekend trip. 6 of us stayed in a beautiful cabin with the sound of the steam water drowning out any noise from the nearby cabins. Very relaxing with a lake and a canoe that guests can use. The dozen or so chickens running around were very entertaining. The cabin was very clean, well maintained, all of the appliances we're working, the beds were comfy. I like that there was a dehumidifier and a couple of very powerful AC units that help to keep the cabin comfortable when our weather was hot and very humid.

I took one star off only because of a few minor things: the screen to the sliding glass door was broken, in a cabin for 6 there weren't enough utensils for everyone to have a set during meals, the upstairs ceiling had a minor water leak all night after a heavy rainstorm, and none of the light switches turned on the fan light that hangs over the kitchen table.

I would definitely come back and recommend this to others. The staff is very friendly and always around and easy to find if you need them for anything. The parking lot is tight, so carpool if you can. There's a farm stand in the parking lot (I think everyday) from about 10a-1p with eggs, produce, and wine! If you find yourself feeling bored, paddle around the lake with the 2 person canoe that is available, swim in the pool, play one of the outdoor games like Jenga, connect four, or ring toss. Great place for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!
