  Everything there was great. Plenty to do without ever needing to leave the property. The staff was excellent.

  Great place! We had a family weekend getaway and we loved it! They serve an excellent breakfast there and atmosphere was great overall! I would recommend this place!

  My wife Loved the old world charm, nostalgia. We played basketball in the game room. They have an excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, I enjoyed the Egg's Benedict. My wife had the french toast. We checked out the pool but neither of us brought our swimsuits. Nice fitness room. Christian was a very attentive valet and took us up to our room as well. Huge property we basically chilled in our room which is what was one of the reasons for only giving the place 4 stars. There was a nice king or queen sized bed crammed into this tiny room. The tub was so small you couldn't stretch out. My wife would love to come back in the spring or summer. I could take it or leave it. Especially considering it cost $200 with a Groupon. We could have gone to the Kalahari and had a ginormous room.

  We went for Valentine's Day. The food was delicious. But the dessert was really terrible. Our server was good an courteous when the kitchen was clearly running behind.

  My family and I visit multiple times a year. The property is sublime. The staff brings their best each day to the place. Each visit there is something that emerges as our favorite part of the stay. We really enjoyed a guided nature walk through the partially frozen swamp.

While visiting Skytop Lodge, I was completely unaware that it was haunted. In fact, I was a guest at a pediatric cancer conference, working with the bereaved siblings. Because of that, I was not knowingly trying food and drinks. That being said, they have a bar nestled off to the side which is my definition of heaven: The Library.
