I am a teen who went to IYPC here and the place is amazing it can be raining and your stuck inside the rec room your still having fun. Its the best would recommend to all ages.
One of the most accessible pristine woods and views in the Poconos. Fine trails, awesome summer camp experiences and faith-based programming. Been loving this place for 42 years! Check it out!
What an amazing experience. We enrolled a first time Young Camper this year and he had an amazing time. He is 7 years old and has some social issues. He always had a hard time making friends so over course I was nervous. I went for a tour of the camp about a month before camp started and immediately felt at ease. The registration process at the start if camp was a little long BUT worth the wait. Alex will be going back again next year for two weeks again and he is already talking about it. Thank you Staff and counselors for making AJ's summer a memory he will never forget.
Pocono Plateau is an amazing place for summer camp and weekend retreats. The property is incredible with a pair of lakes, multiple trails, and plenty of activities. The youth that I know who went there for camp had a great time, and many yearn to go back during the fall and later help volunteer as counselors. There are plenty of weekend retreats for all ages at really affordable prices.
Pocono Plateau Camp and Retreat center has been home to my summer memories for over 2 decades. Their programs are sponsored in part by the United Methodist Church, whose people are not judgmental about your past religious convictions. I have had the pleasure of being a camper, counselor and volunteer here, and my friendships have lasted a lifetime. The beautiful surroundings, bountiful programs and great food are all very nourishing to your soul... even if only for a day visit. It is definitely a great place to check out!
