(January 5, 2018, 7:50 pm)I am a camper there for the summer camp. It is an all girls christian camp. To learn more go on their website. The food is good. And the cabins are very clean as well as the bathrooms. I personally loved it because I felt very welcome it is a very comforting atmosphere. It isn't very expensive because all their profits go to the Mt. Gilead ministry. overall I loved it.

(December 20, 2016, 7:50 pm)Excellent camp. Great value. Solid leadership moving them forward to better and better programming and staff. My daughters had great experiences and as a Dad I was truly blessed by their Dad/Daughter retreat. I can say all this with confidence as a former full time camp director and program director of 18 years who also served as an ACA accreditation visitor for several years. Mt. Gilead was a diamond in the rough 3 years ago and it is quickly becoming a finished gem.

Gilead exerted to make our daughter's experience at camp so very special (it was her first time at this camp). The cabin leaders were young and energetic, well trained, and prepared to give all to help and encourage the campers in their spiritual walk with the Lord. The atmosphere of the camp was very welcoming and inviting. The food was great and the activities were fun (our daughter had the opportunity to take horsemanship course and loved it). The songs around the meal times and interaction among the campers and staff was great and we have and would highly recommend this camp to others. 5 STARS PLUS!!!!

(January 28, 2016, 12:26 pm)Mt. Gilead is a wonderful camp! It's beautiful setting is just the beginning. The activities are exceptional. Our 7 year old daughter enjoyed horse back riding every day. She made great friends. She was able to grow spiritually while she was there in a safe setting where everyone around her had similar beliefs. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience this was! We'll definitely be back next year and for many more years to come.

(January 28, 2016, 10:06 am)My daughter and I have been here on the mother/daughter retreat and it was awesome! Loved the fellowship, leadership and just overall the environment Mt. Gilead gives! My daughter has been there for summer camp and most recently the winter weekend. Every time she is there, she loves it. Her youth leaders are great and she loves that she is comfortable and can gain in her relationship with the lord while she is there. The staff is so friendly and motivational. Definitely great disciples of the Lord. My daughter and I would recommend this camp over and over again. Can't wait for the next event! Sign your kid up for a week or more of summer camp, you won't be disappointed.
