Woodland Trail - Mount Airy Trail Network

Nice trail near the casino. Absolutely quiet - I would not expect other hikers here ;-). It’s a 30 minute round trip in and out. There is also a small geocache hidden near the return point of the trail. Due to the caches log only one geocacher every 3 month finds a way in the woods.

Here is a little trail that is not only sensational but a hidden gem. Never having been to this trail before, and passing it hundreds of times on the drive through Swiftwater area, I was delighted to find that it includes field, forest, and stream; ambling back through the woods, along the water, and to the field again. Great little spot, don’t keep driving past it, stop and take a hike. I even saw a deer about 25 feet from me on my first and maiden voyage in this woods.
