“Dom came highly recommended to me from my Sister In Law’s friend. I immediately was very comfortable with him when we met for my half bath remodel consultation. The first thing that jumps out is how friendly and knowledgeable Dom is. His ability to listen to my requirements and come up with innovative and cost effective solutions given my tight budget on this particular job was amazing. My Dad had converted a bathroom to a pantry about 25 years ago on the main floor of our home. Now he is 90 years old and we determined that we needed to convert this small space back to its original half bathroom to eliminate walking up and down stairs during the day. Dom enters the picture and my vision for this small space was brought to life. Dom took an aging space with many challenges and absolutely nailed it. Comments I received ranged from “it looks like a 4 star-hotel bathroom” to “I can’t believe this was possible given the space and wear and tear of the room”. Dom is the consummate professional and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a positive and enjoyable construction remodel experience. And he is a true gentleman. His passion and execution to his craft was clear to me from day one. I've been referring Hillside to anyone who is suffering mental illnesses and substance abuse. By the way, my daughter was very resistant but is now happy and healthy. “I worked mainly with Tamara who owns K&T, which specializes home renovations. Tamara also runs an interior design company, which was extremely useful, as I was doing a renovation and needed help selecting furniture and decorating the house. Tamara was a pleasure to work with on executing the renovation which was done by her husband Kris as well as decorating the place. The job was done very well, and included putting in new doors, curtains, painting, and hanging up TVs. When it came to decorating, Tamara took full ownership of the project, designing everything from the layout of the furniture, to the exact furniture to buy, to purchasing home decorations and taking pictures of everything for my listing. She is also easy to reach and has a very flexible schedule. An added bonus of working with Tamara is that her husband is a fully licensed contractor, which saved time when I needed to do some minor renovation type work. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.”
