  The ability to go outside or inside is great. I miss locker room banter.

  If you like group fitness classes, the Abington Club is a great place. They have a wide variety and the BEST instructors! Classes are included in membership, which is great. Yes, the building is dilapidated, but I've never felt it was unsafe. The weight room is very small, and three really is a crowd. Members are typically an older crowd, so you might not get a date in the gym - you'd probably have better luck in the Whistle.

  i go to abington club water aerobics and outdoor pool almost daily during the summer as i am a summer member. i find the staff very friendly from aerobics instructors to front desk person to the lifeguards. i am a senior who has to walk to club and take my rolling suitcase down stroller path and people who work at pool will help me get suitcase down steps and up steps to adult deck as there are a lot of steps and hard for me to do steps with suitcase. also people at the wet whistle bar and grill will let me use fridge to store fruit that i buy at nearby acme and will give me ice fro my thermos and are very nice.

  Awesome place. Staff is knowledgeable and always friendly. So glad to be a member.
